CRASH - Resource Tagging - Beta (Mac)

Can anyone reproduce a crash on the latest Beta (5.2a - 5.2.1.0019) when tagging their resources?

More specifically when tagging vyrso books with the label 'vyrso' nothing happens when I populate the field and press enter. After moving to another book and repeating the above, a tag dropdown for vyrso does appear, and when I click on it and then press enter, the program freezes and shuts down.

Anyone else? (if not, I'll dust off the instructions for posting logs… its been awhile)

Have not been able to get tags to stick in this beta. Think I started a thread about crashing when applying tags, but not 100% sure. Set up 5.2 SR-3 Win as a backup under parallels when Tom Philpott posted his warning about this beta. Have to do any serious study and library management on the dark side until the next beta.

I don't have enough expertise to find the cause of your crash in the logs. Hopefully the developers can find something useful there.

I believe this issue should be fixed in Beta 2 - If you experience it again once Beta 2 is shipped, just post logs here again and I'll make a case. Several issues with tagging have been fixed internally and will be in Beta 2. [:)]

I have updated to Beta 2 (5.2a - 5.2.1.0023) and I must admit I can't crash Logos as I could in the original round of this beta (above).

Tagging works, yet now just slower.

Upon bringing up desired book in resource area of the Library pane, I click [add tag] and type in "vyrso" as the tag

A list appears below with vyrso...

…after running through this a number of ways:

- typing out the tag+choosing the result from the list+[return]+[return]
- typing out the tag+choosing the result+[return]+choosing the result again+[return]
- typing out the tag+[return]+[return]

...I see I have to press [return] twice for the tag to start processing. After ~10 seconds of pinwheel/beach ball goodness, tagging is complete!

Its not a quick as it was in the past (by a long shot) but it works!

[edit] - I also just remembered I can bulk tag a highlighted list of resources instead of going through each resource one by one.
