iPad update not showing entire library
I did today's update for the iPad. Now my library will not show. For example, if I type "Augustine" in the library search field, nothing shows. I should have 14 volumes showing. If I type "Lutheran" 3 volumes show instead of the expected 103.
I updated about four hours ago. What am I missing?

Ive had similar problems with the search library feature. The resouces are available if I scroll through my library, but when I search my library several will be missing.

It is true that I can scroll through my 3,000+ volume library and find what I am looking for. Swiping through 2,000 volumes just to find Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers is a little tedious. [:P] Hope they get this bug worked out (or tell me what I am doing wrongly) quickly because the volumes I look for each day are some of those not showing up.

Which update are you referring to? What version of the app are you using?

I don't see this problem - and don't remember hearing of it before this thread (though I note John's comment!)
Is it possible the app thinks it is offline and so only finding resources which you have downloaded?

I updated to version 4.0.3.2557.
I wondered about the app thinking I was offline and only listing volumes that I have downloaded. Two problems there. 1: It does not show some of the volumes I have downloaded. 2: It shows lots of volumes I have never downloaded.
The app knew I was online yesterday. After today's update, maybe it does not know. Regardless, where in the app would I make sure the app knows I am online? And by the way, I am signed in.0 -

Thanks

Seems to disprove that theory!

There isn't anywhere in the app specifically - although trying to run a PG or BWS would indicate whether it "thought" you were online or not
But apart from this I can't explain why you are seeing what you are seeing - hopefully someone else will be able to advise.

I just turned off the iPad and turned it back on. Now abut twice as many resources show but not nearly as many as I have in my library.

For those who want to know what exactly did the trick...from the page alabama24 linked:
Enter rebuild index (all lowercase) in the reference box on the home page and keep the app open until the library has finished reindexing. Don't put the app in the background or let the device go to sleep.0
