The Review of Biblical Literature, published by the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) is a tremendous resource to have for such a price. This collection of 9 years worth of it includes detailed reviews of thousands of biblical studies books by top scholars. Even if you can't buy the books (e.g., they are too expensive or not in Logos format yet) you can get some good material from the summaries in the reviews.

This is not a 12 Days of Logos thing; it's simply on sale in Logos format. Not sure how long the sale will last or if it's permanent.

With all due respect this says more about the crazy list prices than about what a great deal this is. Obviously NO ONE would pay $3600 for this, especially as all the reviews can be read online for free. I bought it on prepub for the convenience and it was considerably less than $200.

It's still a good price (though I did get it for the $70 prepub price)....

I kick myself when I cancel a prepub and then later make the choice to buy it (which has happened a few times).....

I have been subscribing to the hard copy for a year or so and I think that this is a very good journal. I pre-ordered it in April 2008, unfortunately it has never generated enough interest so that it is still sitting there in the prepub. [:(]
