Proclaim Remote - video "thumbnail" feature request

The Proclaim remote app works great, but any video clips just show as a grey box. So if multiple clips are being used then it's difficult to know which you might be triggering. Please grab a frame from the video and use it as a preview image for videos within the app so that we have some idea what the video clip contains.

The remote should show a frame from the video. The same frame that shows on the horizontal timeline in the main application. Is it possible that your video has a grey frame?

Hi Scott,

No, I dont believe it has anything to do with a frame in the video. I've captured a screenshot showing the grey thumbnails in the Android-based Remote app.

The first is a regular video clip, like what might be used as a sermon illustration. The second two represent motion backgrounds in songs.

They show normally/as-expected in the main application, but grey in the Remote.

Hello Russell,

Have you set these service item backgrounds as 'local only'? Because if this is the case, those backgrounds will be local to your computer only and will not show up on the remote.

Spencer, you were correct. The videos were set as 'local' and that's why there was no thumbnail in the Remote. Thanks!
