Bible reading plan synchronization
After spending several hundreds of dollars and being assured by the salesman that my wife and I could both use the application, we installed the iPad app on our individual iPads and want to use the same Bible reading plan. However, we don't always read at the same pace, but the reading progress is stored in cyberspace rather than on the local iPad. We CANNOT, as promised, both read our Bibles unless we read exactly the same thing every day. The solution when I called support: Buy a separate license for my wife! For the money invested in this software, they should take into consideration that couples will read the Bible together, but not always at identical places.

For clarification: The user licensing agreement is for "one user," which Bob (the owner) has interpreted for us as including a spouse (who is not in vocational ministry). Although we are allowed to share with our spouse, the app really is for "one user."

Why don't you create a separate (but identical) reading plan for your wife?

Such a simple, but effective, solution. I just set up a second plan identical to the first. I didn't realize you could do that! Thank you so much. I was frustrated after calling support because the person was not even trying to be helpful or make any suggestions.

I installed the second Bible reading plan, but it is starting today, Jan 14, with the Jan 1 readings. When I move ahead, it is incrementing the date based on starting today. Is there anyway I can backdate it to have started on Jan 1?

What might work off the top of my head is if you go to documents.logos.com and are logged in with your logos.com account, you can manage much of your documents there. If you find your original reading plan, there should be an action button, where you can click duplicate, that should make an exact copy I believe with the correct progress and everything.
