BUG: Logos 5 stops working when Kai is searched
I do not know if this is a serious bug or not but when I tried to search the Greek word for "and" using the Bible Word Study tool Logos 5 crashed. Now it seems like "kai" is the only word that crashes Logos because I have not had problems with any other word. However, do I need to be concerned about other Greek words crashing logos when I access the Bible Word Study? Is this a known problem? If so, how do I fix it?

It doesn't cause me a problem. Any chance you are running out of memory? my next guess would be a bad index. If you upload some logs, we'll be able to better help you - see http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging

Here is the Bug Log File. Like I said, it is only doing it when I search the Greek word "Kai" and is not giving me any trouble in any other feature of Logos 5 (that I know of). However, I just want to make sure that the system will not crash for other reasons as well. Thanks for looking at this for me.

It looks as though the problem is occurring when trying to look up the word in a Septuagint Translation.
Do you have any Septuagint resources? (If you're not sure, try looking for "lxx" in the Library window)
Do you still get the crash if you "turn off" Septuagint translation? Ensure that the small triangle to the left of "Septuagint Translation" is "closed"
And welcome to the forums

Great! Praise the Lord. Thank you two for your help in this. Like I said, it really was not a big deal but I wanted to get rid of the problem. It was the problem. I use the Septuagint when I encounter a Greek Word that is only used once in the New Testament. Luckily Kai is the most often used word so I wouldn't need the Septuagint. Thanks for everything.

Good to know you've found a workaround for this problem, but I still think it's a BUG and Logos shouldn't crash.
Logos, please look into this.

I can reproduce this on both Mac and Windows and I will create a case for Development.

In my case, whether the Lxx is opened or closed makes no difference, It happens to me when i look up the word in the NA27 and the LXX s closed.
