When I put a topic or scripture in the search box on the home screen and press go Logos 5 Crashes on my Mac. I am running Mavericks.

Justin, welcome. The logs are not too helpful to me. They may help someone who knows the Mac application well, so be patient. If you don't get help by tomorrow morning (US time) you should call Tech Support.
My guess is corrupted History, otherwise it is Preferences of which there is a choice of 3 databases. So try deleting /Users/JKirksey/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/m12cerh8.xn9/HistoryManager/history.db and restart Logos to fix it.
That did not fix it.
Please get advice from Logos Tech support.
