Announcement Signal not working

Hi There,

We are currently trialling Proclaim and we are loving it, but we are having an issue with Announcement signals being sent.

Just as a test we set up a youth group event and let Proclaim automatically create a signal. The FSB app is recognising that there is a signal, however it is coming up with the error "The signal has missing or invalid content. Please contact the presenter."

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Upon investigating, I was not able to reproduce your issue here. Does this happen on every type of device (such as Android or iOS)? Also have you tried the Logos Bible app, and if so do you run into the same problem there?

Hello Jordan,

So upon further investigating I was able to figure out the issue with your signal. The particular announcement you were having trouble with was using the 'repeat until' feature and you did not provide an end date for that repetition. In order for the signal to be valid, there needs be an end date for when the repetition of this event ends. Once you add that date, the signal should work.

I seem to be getting the same error, only with the Giving signal, even though all fields are filled out. Any suggestions?

Hello Jesse,

I am assuming you are talking about a donation request signal correct? Well I looked at your presentation and the donation request signal that is failing seems to be missing the suggested donation amount, which is needed to make the signal valid. If this is not the case please let me know.
