How do I define the default Septuagint?

I have noticed that, in my Bible Word Studies, I am not seeing all the Septuagints I have available under Septuagint Translation. I see only LXX Swete and LXX Swete ALT. The Swete has some OT verse references which do not agree with the English translations. For example, the BWS for homologeo shows an LXX reference for Job 40:9, which is actually Job 40:14 in our translations. I have the Logos LXX, for example, which I would like to add to the list and perhaps set it as my default Septuagint. How do I do this?

By default, Logos will use the Septuagint that has highest prioritisation. See http://wiki.logos.com/Prioritizing

I don't know why you're not seeing the Logos LXX - I can see it. Are you restricting the BWS to a part of the Bible not included in Logos LXX? (You should see all the Septuagints that have a Hebrew reverse interlinear.)

For a Septuagint to appear in Septuagint Translations in BWS, you also need to have a Hebrew/Greek reverse interlinear for that Septuagint (and not just the LXX resource itself). In Logos 5, the LOGOSLXX reverse interlinear is in the Platinum package and higher. (It was in smaller packages in Logos 4, so customers who upgraded from Logos 4 may have it, without needing to upgrade to Platinum v5.)

I tried putting it in the priority list, but I'm not seeing it. I even did a BWS on Theos from John 1:1. That should be in the Logos LXX! It would be great to get this working. I am doing Greek word studies for a class at the moment and the BWS is a great help.

Phil ... this is a bit OT ... I was trying to determine how I have the desired LXX and you don't. Nor did I buy a L4 'smaller package' other than the L4 crossgrade.

That led me to the L4 crossgrade, bringing back ancient memories of products not delivered:

Cascadia SBLGNT hasn't been available for a long time where it's actually 'supposed' to be. And frankly I don't have the enduring patience to track it down either.

Better to leave 'Cascadia' somewhere east of Portland. And Richter as a name of one of the apocrypha.
