The book Still Not Professionals is in my Logos library but when I try to download it on my iPad in Vyrso the description box says it's available online only because it isn't in my Logos library.

David, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.  I've just checked my iPhone and the resource is accessible and downloadable for me.

Is this the only resource you're having this issue with?  Are you definitely using the same username / password on your iPad as on Logos 4/5?

  • There is only one other resource with the same issue. I was checking around to see if another resource did the same thing and the only other one that did the same thing was 40 Days to Better Living - Weight Management.  I'm using Logos 5 and just getting used to the iPad since my son was gracious enough to get one for me. I've downloaded numerous other resources that are in my Logos library into Vyrso without an issue, however these two won't download because after touching the open circle with the "i" inside beneath the thumbnail, the message says it's not in my Logos library. (but it is)

    Hi David

Sounds like some licencing mismatch on the Logos servers used to manage mobile apps

Hopefully someone from Logos will see this thread and be able to comment further

I agree with Graham, you might have to contact Logos... BUT, have you killed the app via the multitask bar? Have you done a full shut down of the device? Have you deleted and reinstalled the app (you will have to redownload notes & resources)?

Before you delete the app, you might want to try typing the command rebuild index on the home page search box. after you do so, give it a couple of minutes and check again.

  • I dread the idea of reinstalling Vyrso and redownloading the resources. You're way ahead of me in technical knowledge. I'm a newbie to the the iPad and I wouldn't know if I "killed the app via the multitask bar". Those are all English words but I have no idea what they mean. [*-)] I have done a full shut down of the iPad with no change. Since you and Graham agree on calling Logos I think that's what I'll do so as not to do any harm searching for a solution. Thank you all for your interest. I really like the book and though I can continue reading it in Logos, where it did download, I, in my quest to learn more about my device and Vyrso, am puzzled by the issue. God bless. Dave

    Hi David

Regarding the multi-task bar: if you "double-press" the button at the bottom of the iPad (bottom assuming the iPad is in portrait mode) then you get a set of pictures showing which apps are active. You can scroll through this list unti you get to Vyrso - as below

If you "flick" the image of the Vyrso app upwards it will disappear and this will close down the app.

As above, it's probably best to contact Logos.

One other option is to download one of the other Logos apps - such as the Bible! one - and see if you can download the resource there.

That would check out whether there is an issue with the Logos servers and not interfere with the resources you have downloaded into Vyrso as they are held separately.
