I think that all depends on your viewpoint. If I did the Twitter thing, I'd buy this at the discount but, since I don't, I won't. The endorsements are scholarly, but Barton and Saunders are hardly card-carrying conservatives. However, if you're into historical-critical analysis with a literary-critical twist it would be worth reading. Personally, I'm more into rhetorical-critical, perfomance-critical analysis, and discourse analysis. However, it's worth $15 for historical background reading.
Every blessing

This was yesterday's Daily Deal, today's is …
The time zone thing just confuses me. [:S]
Thanks for point that out. But since Bruce posted today, I thought his post meant today not yesterday. [:S]
The time zone thing just confuses me.
Reminded me of the time we crossed the Atlantic underwater without adjusting the ship's clocks. After we tied up in Charleston, SC, all clocks were backed up 5 hours. Instead of 1300 it was now 0800 and time to start a new work day. Leave it to our skipper to find a way to make the day 29 hours long. [:@]
I appreciate the responses. I guess I didn't look at the timing closely.
It's kind of a bummer that Twitter DD don't last a week anymore. It used to be the case that you could use Monday's coupon on Friday and even Saturday. I guess they're being more strict on the "daily" part of it.

I don't remember that being the case - normally they expire directly on that day.
Unless it was a glitch on the website, I remember sometimes purchasing daily deals that were live during the week on a Saturday (even a Sunday on one occasion; not so anymore [:(]). I think they should do a "weekly round up" on Saturday to allow us to purchase the deals that were live during the week, in case we missed one or changed our mind and decided we really wanted it.
Oh one more thing, before they didn't have a daily deal on Saturday, now they do and last Saturday's deal was a great deal (Jack Cottrell's What the Bible Says About the Holy Spirit - Great read! It's sort of motivating me to get the whole series, but I think I'll wait for it to go on sale first).
