Searching for word combinations not necessarily contained in the same verse

I have to write a paper on μεν δε constructions in the NT. I can only figure out how to search these two terms when they are contained in the same verse. I get the same results for μεν within 100 words δε as μεν within 20 words δε, because it will not search for δε beyond the verse where μεν is found. These two terms can have a relationship even if they are further in proximity than the same verse. Is there a way to search for these two terms within a paragraph or within 10 verses?

Try using a "basic" search for this while searching your Bible, instead of a "Bible" search which limits searches, as you discovered.
(I tried to confirm that observation in the wiki, but wasn't able. So, if someone corrects me on this, go with their assessment. I just don't use Bible search to search while disregarding verse limits.)

Thanks Richard
Do you think you could walk me thru how to conduct that search?

First set up a morph search with the search string "lemma:μέν BEFORE lemma:δέ" then change it to a basic search (be sure to specify the NA27 in the basic search) where the search string becomes "(([field bible, content] <lemma = lbs/el/μέν>) BEFORE ([field bible, content] <lemma = lbs/el/δέ>))". With this I get 1,151 hits in 101 articles (influenced by more than one element being searched). Of these I can offhand find several (Mt 17.11-12, 21.35-37, 22.5-7) etc where the verse boundaries are surpassed.

Welcome [:)]
Change Morph Search for:
lemma:μέν BEFORE 99 WORDS lemma:δέ
to Basic Search by copying Morph Search to another tab, then clicking Basic:
In Greek New Testament, navigation choices on right side include search results so can click arrows to jump to previous or next result.
By the way, wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Extended_Tips_for_Highlighting_and_Visual_Filters#Examples_of_visual_filters
