Sorry to lament over this again ... There are several items closing this week that still have $4 bid increments. Please give us a chance to get the price down! Every dollar counts and it will be a Herculean task to jump $4 at a time.
Please.
Classic Commentaries and Studies on the Pastoral Epistles Upgrade (10 vols.)
Thomas Watson Collection (7 vols.)
Commentaries on the Laws of Moses (4 vols.)
Peace to all! *smile* Thanks in advance for please considering this, Logos! It would indeed add to the excitement of bidding as we encourage one another, eh?!?!
If at all possible, we would like to be "happy campers"!
Probably not a new idea, but it would be nice if this could be built into the bidding. The general idea being, when a book gets to $50 the increments go automatically to $3 and when a book reaches $25, the increments automatically go to $1.

Exactly ... and why not go to $1 increments when the bidding goes over the top ... regardless of the total. I don't think we need the amounts on the high side as we do now. You may need a little room above the current successful bid at this point but I'm not sure why you would need the levels we see now. $72 seems much too high for something where the successful bid appears to be $16.

I love that idea! I think it could also motivate more people to bid if that were the case.
I notice this morning that we still have $4 increments on all the titles listed above. [:(]
It would be disappointing to see the Classic Commentaries close at $16 when it appears there is a possibility of being lower.
Any help from Logos would be greatly appreciated. Sooner is better than later.

Maybe, even .................. just maybe ........... later is better than no $1 increments .... am pondering ....*smile*
Now ... am concluding .... I've concluded that Steve is correct ........ Yes! Sooner is better than later!

[Y] [Y] How about it Logos? [:D] Silence is not always golden!
No movement, yet. Getting late ...

Thomas Watson is on the line at 100% for $24 but still going for $28. Hopefully a final push will bring it over!
Hello All,
I apologize that we've been so slow adjusting these. You're right, this seems like a natural place for automation, but there are just too many things for us to build or fix right now, so we're doing it by hand. This morning I met with the team responsible for Community Pricing, and we worked out a system to adjust bid increments in a more timely manner. These resources are being adjusted as we speak, and we hope to catch these quicker in the future.
If you ever would like to bring a product to our attention, feel free to email me directly at ray[dot]deck[at]logos[dot]com.

Thanks so much for doing this Ray and team! I look forward to the future when this can be automated for it will save everyone time and should promote more sales!
Wonderful! Thanks Ray!
Peace, Ray! Thank you! We know you are very, very, very busy! *smile*
So, Thank You Indeed! We appreciate your feeding our various idiosyncrasies !!! *smile*

It is at 24!
The Body of Divinity alone is worth it!
[Y]
Definitely!
Classic Commentaries on the Gospels and Acts is nearly at $35 but it may just be too big an ask!
Pastorals down to $13, should be able to get another $1 off at least!
Ray, can you do something about this; we have 24 hours to get it even lower!

Adjustment made.

Thanks. I bet you can't wait until this is automated.

And as of Thursday afternoon it is on the bubble at $23.
not that it matters that much, but smaller increments would still be appreciated on the classic comm series:

I think it matters and thanks for bringing this up again with another CP item. [:)]
Looking at the chart it would seem that there is way too much on the right-hand side of the proposed successful bid and increments that are too large on the left-hand side. I know it's a manual process at the moment but perhaps it would be a good idea to look at the CP items over the top with a week left to go before closing on a daily basis - adjust as needed.
...just a thought.

By 3:30 PM on Thursday it is $23. Can we go for $22?! The curve is very flat so it shouldn't take many bids.
Wow! Wonderful! If people would notice this I believe we would see it go down as much as $10.00 in one night!
Smaller increments are wonderful and certainly make me feel like a "happy camper"! Thank you, Logos! Peace to all!
I took a quick peek and I jumped in. I hope what's in here is useful to a hopeful future assistant pastor in a conservative Baptist church someplace and for my studies at Luther Rice Seminary now.
