When is the release day of the Hebrew Pronunication?

I wait for a long long long time and Bob said it is going to release in the first half of this year:

I believe the last obstacle is gone, and this product should ship in the first half of next year. (Probably closer to the end of that half.) But that's a guess, not a promise!
Can Logos update us about the progress?

Bob can you answer?

It will come out in October. Bob is going to run a special "Octoberfest" promotion on all things "He Brews." [:P]

It depends in which camp you are: do you believe that the pronunciation add-in will come before, during or after the "Great Distribution"? I am a post-Great-Distribution believer myself [:P]

As long as I get it before the millennium, I have no problem...

I don't think they can release it because they cannot solve the last obstacle.

Bob said that he thought it would be released towards the end of the first half of 2013. We're not quite there yet, and Bob is ever the optimist. [;)] I think it will come out in the fall. Like in October.

It will come out in October and will be given away for free as part of the "Pastor's Appreciation Month" just like they did with the sermon file add-in in Logos 3 years ago ;-)

Ps. With Mr. Bob's predictions not materializing, I wonder if he's of Mayan descent...lol

Free? Are you serious? It will be a good news for us. I hope it can come out in this Oct. Need more patience.

I believe Bob said they had solved the last obstacle. But I'm guessing they ran into another unexpected obstacle.
I'd love to hear an update. I've been waiting for this for so long!

Yes, any update from Logos?

I looked into this, and it appears we've having problems (again) with the speaker getting started. We'd sent things out, but they never came back. We're going to find someone else, which will delay us.
I've 'kicked' the project again, and hopefully we'll get it going soon.
I'm very sorry for the delay.

If you decide you want a massacred "southern" version of the Hebrew, from someone who doesn't speak the language, I'm your man. I can start next week.

I've learned Hebrew (and Aramaic, and Greek), but I'm assuming you are looking for someone who has practiced speaking it/reading the language much longer than I have....and who will have more accurate pronunciation. I can speak/read it somewhat well, though.

This made me LOL.Disclaimer: I hate using messaging, texting, and email for real communication. If anything that I type to you seems like anything other than humble and respectful, then I have not done a good job typing my thoughts.

Michael is right. They will release in year 2035.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I will be done with my MABL before then.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Do you guys know where I can find a program like the Hebrew pronunciation?
It is because I need one and I don't think Logos can release this one in the near future.
Thanks!

I am not familiar with one Kelvin. I might suggest though - learning the Hebrew Alphabet and basic pronunciation, this is available in the first chapter of almost any grammar as well as on youtube if you need to hear someone else. Once you master the basics you can muddle your way through quite well.

Hi, Kelvin,
Have you Googled "Audio Hebrew Bible"? There are downloads available. Shalom, shalom.

Thanks for your reply but the online one, they read too fast. Sometimes I have problem to listen.
This is why I am so disappointed about Logos. I like their Greek one. Very good.

My turn to chime in.
I have attempted to respond to those who have posted on the product page, but, every attempt creates a posting error message.
This is going to be one of those annoying projects, as i see there are people who bid on this 7 years ago. Im heading on 2 years. Some of us are really wanting this project to come through. Some have given up. But, one thing I think is certain: everyone wants to know updates. Obviously, it won't come out in either half of last year, and this year isn't looking too good, either. However, if I may offer a suggestion, if finding someone is a problem, has anyone looked into hiring a Rabbi? They may be willing to do this cheaper than a professor. Or, an Israeli college student? [:P][^o)] Of course, I could always ask my Hebrew Professor if he needs extra work. [:D] I'd offer to do it, but, I have a feeling the Alabama offer would be better than mine. lol.
Anyway, ANY updates would be awesome. Oh, and perhaps a post on the product page for those who are not familiar with the forums, might be good.
Thanks.Bob Pritchett said:I looked into this, and it appears we've having problems (again) with the speaker getting started. We'd sent things out, but they never came back. We're going to find someone else, which will delay us.

Mr. Bob answered you already, read his response, "But that's a guess NOT a promise!" [emphasis mine on the NOT]. That was in 2012 when he wrote that. I believe there's been other responses where they seem to be getting closer, but no promises still (I didn't post the link to the thread back in December 2013 (I think) because the answer remains the same...the don't know).
Why do you want it anyway? Use talking Strong's for now. Is not like anybody's sermon is gonna get any better just because you took a Hebrew word and learned how to pronounce it off of a program that has been struggling on the issue of which one is the right pronunciation of the Hebrew words being used. Plus, you've been doing just fine without it (I know I have), so I don't see why waiting another 4 years or more will make any difference other than you choosing to frustrate yourself over it.
Here's the real answer: "It'll be ready when it gets finished!? When? Not even Logos knows the answer, that's why they have not jumped the gun in giving a "guesstimate date." All I can say, be patience and keep waiting...but, don't hold your breath. That's the more realistic response, you can choose to accept it or you can choose to continue to ask Logos and they'll continue to give you the same answer..."They're getting closer or have 25% done, but they still don't know."
DAL
Edit: Vincent provided the link I didn't post. So there's a more recent answer, and again, there you have it: "They're getting closer, but they still don't know"...LOL

Can everyone please stop reminding me that this resource is never coming out? Thanks.

It's really not all that difficult to learn how to pronounce Hebrew. The only tricky part is qamets versus qamets-chatuf. It's difficult to see why someone who does not learn Hebrew would want to have access to the pronunciation of all the words and why someone who does learn Hebrew should need it. I used to think it was a cool idea but now, I see no need for it.

All I'm going to need once it ships is an add-in that listens to the Hebrew word being spoken and re-speaks it in English... [:S]

Much thanks.
I keep getting an error, when attempting to reply on the product page. Can someone else post the link there?
