This is unique. I've used it for a long time but for some reason today it's not opening at all.
Thanks for any help.

Hi - and welcome to the forums.
Sorry to hear you are having problems.
But I can't read the link to your log
Can you upload logs to this thread using the paperclip icon?
Ideally Logos.log, logoserror.log, logoscrash.log
file://localhost/Users/pahavens/Desktop/LogosLogs.pahavens.20140226-121250/
Hopefully this will work. Thanks for your help.
Patrick
No, this is a link to your local system
Did you try uploading them using the paperclip icon as opposed to pasting a link to the file location?
Ooops How about this.

Sounds like I have the same problem. Can anyone please help? Also attached my log report. Thanks in advance! Need my logos back running stat for sermon prep this weekend...

That worked. Your Logos.log indicates that you have a malformed database. With Logos not running, try deleting /Users/pahavens/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/q1sjn2vn.n1a/HistoryManager/history.db
Upon restart, Logos will rebuild this database. Note that OS 10.8 hides the User Library folder by default. In the Finder Go menu, hold down the Option key and the Library folder will appear. Follow the rest of the directory path to the history.db.
Let us know if this fixes the problem.

Similar symptoms do not necessarily indicate an identical problem. Your logs show a malformed database, but I am not literate enough in logese to identify which one is the culprit. Hopefully, Dave, KS4J, or Alabama will come along and solve the problem.

It looks to me as though you have a corrupt layout which Logos is trying to open.
Try holding down the Cmd key as you start Logos and - from the logon screen - select a blank layout and see if that helps
Graham
It worked perfect. Thanks for the timely response and patience.
Hi Jack, appreciate taking a look at it.
Graham, thanks also for your input. I tried what you said, and I could get in a bit further with the blank screen, but once I do anything (such as go to home screen, opening a resource, etc.), then it crashes again. So it seems like it's happy as long as it sits on the blank page. If I do anything else, it reverts to crashing.
Should I upload another log?
Hmm...now even opening to a blank page is causing it to crash...
Attached is the newest log...6052.LogosLogs.derekschen.20140226-143009.zip

Thanks Derek
This looks - to me - like a problem with the library catalog file. But we need someone with more knowledge in this area to identify exactly what needs to be done.
Attached is the newest log..
Graham is correct. You need to delete the file /Users/derekschen/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/t6y0wd1r.zxa/LibraryCatalog/catalog.db, then restart Logos which will take some time to restore it.
Note that the Library folder is hidden by default - see http://www.macworld.com/article/161156/2011/07/view_library_folder_in_lion.html to view it.
Thanks so much Dave and Graham for your help! It fixed my problem!
