I very much prefer my Bibles (especially my preferred) to open by default to the left side pane in a two pane side by side layout. Is there a method for establishing a default side pane for a resource to open to?
Hi James - and welcome to the forums
There aren't any settings you can change but there has been a lot of work done on the algorithm for this recently. What version of Logos 5 are you running?
And are you aware that you can "drag" the resource to the pane you want as you are opening it?
Just "grab it" in the command window as you are opening it and move it to the panel you desire

Version:
Logos Bible Software 5.2 SR-6 (5.2.0.0136)
I have no issue with dragging and manually establishing and saving/using multiple layouts, etc. From a blank screen though my ESV opens to the right hand pane when I want it on the left. I haven't though looked at opening my second resource first and see if it opens right and the Bible left. I'll give that a go. Not a huge deal but just one of those things that "made me wonder".
Thanks so much.
Jim
By the way, I see I advertised my dyslexia with the "pain" for "pane" in the subject line - just to let the world know!
Hi James
You should be able to edit the subject field - if you want to - for about 10 hours after posting. Choose the More button and Edit.

(It might have changed slightly since then but that should give some context)
