New Version of Proclaim - can't insert line breaks, now show as a rectangle box ▯

I have always been inserting line breaks for the CCLI info, as the design/customization doesn't seem to do any sort of word wrap for the "Credits" section (which , it REALLY REALLY needs to ...

take "Our God" ... the "credits" section has this:

Not really feasible (even if you take out all the "Admin. by"s or readable to have it alll crammed in one tiny itty bitty box.

SOOOO .. until the latest version, my work around was to hit alt+enter (on mac) to strategically insert line breaks so it was nice and word wrapped and actually visible.

but now .. everywhere I had them, now are rectangular 'non-font' characters.

please fix!!!

Hello Tracey,

This was never intended to be supported. A good workaround would be to break the credits in half; then, using the customize menu, add a new caption and enter half of the credits into the new text field available.

but then, that would mean that every single song (new & existing) would have to be completely customized! what's the point of having credits (which auto fills song name, attributes, copyright, & CCLI) and the ccli check box when it auto combines into one text box w/out text wrap? what's the point of attributes and copyright at all (since you can't even select that as a custom add field on the song slides)? especially considering that we use song select.

is anyone able to use "credits" at all?

Not only that, but you can't even add a custom caption to the title slide.

this could all be solved by either a) bringing back line breaks or b) implementing word wrap for the "credits"

Tracey, We've been asking for word wrap for a long time! Don't hold your breath. :-)
