Copy Bible Verses frustration

I'm getting very frustrated with Copy Bible Verses. I now know why Theologians are bald with beards. :-)

Trying to write a paper in class tonight and coming up with all kinds of crazy scenarios when using copy bible verses into Word for Mac.

Word Paper Requirements:
font: Times New Roman, 12
line spacing: 2.0

If I copy a verse into a paragraph, all my 2.0 line spacing for that paragraph changes to 1.0 line spacing.

To compensate:
I make a new paragraph, copy and paste and then backspace to the original paragraph. But then the font changes to Times 10.0 for the verse only.

Either way I have to either fix the whole paragraph line spacing or just the verse font and size.

My copy bible verse style in LOGOS is as follows:

%NoCharFormatting
%NoRedLetter
%NoFootNote
%NoCitation

=Header
<p>“<i>

=ForEachVerse
[VerseText]

=Footer
” ([FullPassageRef], [Version])</i></p>

UPDATE:

I did manage a work around... Made a new style in Word for Mac called TKU1

In logos style sheet now I have"
%ForEachVerseStyle=TKU1

If I make a new paragraph and backspace it to the original paragraph then it works.

However if I add copy paste the verse to any paragraph, the paragraph goes to 1.0 line spacing...

Temporary bandaid solution I hope...

This is definitely the way to go, as it works OK for Word 2013 in Windows, until I paste into a paragraph from another style...
