... because I am neither Arab nor Jewish
How do switch two layouts so my BOOK is on my left and my NOTES DOCUMENTS are on my right?
I am heading out to class, or I would take some screenshots... But I suspect some VIP or other will come along directly and post screen captures and a more detailed tutorial... But for now; click and drag
click and drag
It depends on what you mean by layouts. :-)
If you mean the automatically generated layouts that occur when you enter the passage, click go and later load your notes - nothing can help you but a very merciful programmer at Logos. The location that windows open up to is still a mystery - probably determined by a random number generator and a disemboweled chicken.
IF, however, you mean a layout you have created and saved... EZPZ. :-)
From that time forward every time you load your layout all of your windows will be right where you want them.
Oh for the love of Pete everyone... thanks! I had tried it before, and probably was trying to drag the wrong thing or something, and so assumed it couldn't be done... NOTE TO SELF: try it AGAIN first. [8-|]
That having been said, I am still mystified as to why the programmers would think that it's better for something to open on our right when we are naturally left-to-right people. Oh well... I STILL LOVE LOGOS! [:D]

Only one caution I would give regarding dragging notes, etc—never try this UNTIL you have a resource or note file on both the left and right or you will end up having the resource displayed full-screen.
With three displays my work flow is as follows
Remember, Jack, coveting is a sin [6]

i use two displays and have no problem with the. output of the default layouts. Right hand side on first monitor is central to my view along with LHS on second monitor. The only thing that concern semis why they feel the need to tweak it every six months. Even with one screen I'm ok with default layout - maybe I have some Hebrew ancestory way back - I know I am related to Abraham so that might explain it.
Display three (far right): Word study and Original Language tools, assignment rubric, other resources
Thanks for expanding my vocabulary today! For 58 years I've managed to gloss over the word "rubric" until today [:|]
Display one (far left): Commentaries, dictionaries, background info, relevant sources.Display two (middle): front and center): MS WordDisplay three (far right): Word study and Original Language tools, assignment rubric, other resourcesI have a fourth display, and when things get really cluttered on the first three, I will move the Rubric to the fourth display which is top and center.
Wow, I thought I was doing well with two. [:S]
