Automatic updates?

Why do I have to go to the Google Play store periodically and check whether there is a newer version of the Logos app. Why isn't this check done automatically by the app, and an opportunity to update given to me when I launch it?

    I think that you just have to check the auto update box, mine updates automatically.

    Like Mike said, there should be a setting in Google Play to allow automatic updates for each app (or for all apps). Then I think it will only check for and download updates when you're connected to wifi (although there may be a setting for that too).

    To see this "Auto-Update" check box:

    • first view the app in the Google Play store;
    • tap the menu button on your Android phone/tablet.  The window containing a check box labeled "Auto-Update" will appear.
