An Amyraut is an Amyrauld by Any Other Name

I'm interested in finding all the references to Moise Amyraut in my library. His name has been spelled many different ways in the last 350 years. Does anyone have a good suggestion for finding all the occurrences of the various spellings of his name without having to resort to a long Boolean search string with all the possible spellings included (because I'm not sure I know them all)?

I'd use Amyr* (and just did, I also checked several dozen hits for Amir* and it seems no one spell Amyraldism or its name-giver with i instead of y)

My Library has several footnotes which spell him Amirald, if that's the same one. They don't mention a first name, but cite works by him (De Trinitate; Sup Heb.; Dissert.) He's also spelled Amiraut a few times. There are also two mentions of Amaraldus.

You can find all the spellings that exist in your library by starting to type Amar... Amir... Amyr... in the Seach box and see all the words that match those first few letters. Then construct your boolean search. I'm afraid you will need a boolean search in the end. Doing wildcard searches takes way too long.

Obviously this depends on the items in Doc B's library. For me, Amirald doesn't exist, Amiraut is mentioned only once directly beneath Amyraut, and Amirault is a false positive: the few hits all refer to Gary Amirault, a modern-day universalist.

Since I bought a SSD, Wildcard searches go fast, the Amyr* one needs less than three seconds for "my books" and "my library" combined.

I guess a Boolean search it is. I guess with enough hit and miss, I might catch most of the spellings.

You might try "Am?r*"

UPDATE: That doesn't work well—it gets "America[ n]", "Amorite", etc.
