Not all of the works of Richard Baxter shows up on my iPad. Any idea why not?
I don't have this resource, but can you explain more? Provide screen shots?
I have all 23 volumes of The Practical Works of Richard Baxter showing up on my iPad. The earlier Logos edition of The Reformed Pastor by Baxter does not show up. It does not seem to be licensed for mobile devices. The Reformed Pastor is, however, found in volume 14 of his Practical Works.
Is there another volume you are missing?
Although I have the 23 works on my pc, I only have six (6) showing up on my iPad. Volumes 6,12,8,21,23,10.
Any suggestions?
Perhaps you don't have an internet connection and those 6 are the only ones that you downloaded previously?
Are you by any chance filtering your Library listing? Are you sure
I can't think of anything that would cause the behavior you are seeing. Obviously you should see all 23. I assume you've tried to close and reopen the app?
@ Mark,
I'm not sure what "filtering my library listings" is. I have closed and reopened the app.
@ Nick,
Internet connection is high speed cable with wifi. Not a problem there.
@ bama,
I don't know how to do a screen shot from my iPad.
Press the on/off button and the Home button (the one on the side of the screen) at the same time. To post it here I think you have to transfer it to your PC/MAC first.
You filter the Library by typing something into the Library find box. I've fooled myself by doing that and not noticing it, is why I asked.
I don't have any other suggestions except to try to reinstall the app. If you don't have too many books downloaded to your iPad that would be worth a try.
Just called tech support and Daniel suggested to do a "rebuild index" - all lower case and without the quote marks. This should be done on the Home page and inserted in the "Reference" spot. It worked and now all 23 volumes are on my iPad.
Also, you may not notice that the iPad is doing nothing, but it's working in the back ground. Give it a few minutes.
Thanks. re-installing the app was the second option if rebuilding didn't work.

Great to know. Glad you are now set.
