+1 [Y] Great set! Volume 1 was the textbook for my early church history course.
The Story of Christianity, Volume 1: The Early Church to the Dawn of the Reformation
The Story of Christianity, Volume 2: The Reformation to the Present Day0 -
Read them both - very good histories. Would be a great reference tool for Logos. +1

I'd like to have this too.
We have the Russian translation of the books at home. They're among favorite Christian books of my wife. :-)

Here is another vote for these books. I have them both in book form, but would enjoy them more in L4.

I would like to see them in Logos, also. They were my church history textbooks in both college and seminary.

I'd like to see them in Logos (or Vyrso) too.
Curiously, volume 3 is available in Vyrso by itself: https://vyrso.com/product/26112/a-history-of-christian-thought-volume-3-from-the-protestant-reformation-to-the-20th-century

I likewise had The Story of Christianity as a textbook for Church History, and remember that it was a good approachable, readable introduction. It is probably one of the reasons I found the subject interesting. Since it seems to be so standard, I suppose it should be in Logos. But I have found these volumes to be frustrating now - mostly because of the lack of footnotes to document just about anything. And so when I have come to a different conclusion from reading different sources, I can never see why Gonzalez says what he does.

Absolutely. Not sure why it's taking so long to have these in L5?

Yes. I've read both of these volumes and agree that they are excellent. Logos somehow got the rights to sale them in Spanish, but not English. Strange how that worked out. It has been over 5 years now. I have no hope left that this will make it to Logos in English.
MY SUGGESTION: BUY THESE TWO BOOKS ON AMAZON!

I hope the second editions are in the works for Logos soon. My second semester Church History class uses Vol. 2 and I'd prefer to have it in digital format in addition to my hardback first edition. I actually think I'll postpone taking the course at least until it is available in Kindle, where it is available for pre-order.
