I didn't actually try it, so I don't know. I don't give my email address away to publishers that easily. I was able to check out a sample of it in print in the bookstore so I didn't feel I needed the free ebook. However I passed along the link to others in case anyone else wanted to check it out. Sorry it's not working for you.

Tom - It worked fine for me, but i am in the US so that really doesn't help with that part of your question.

I gave my pseudo email address and got the link to download the 2 PDF's. You have to do them one by one, though.
However I passed along the link to others in case anyone else wanted to check it out.

Yes, I had to use a different email address to get the unlock email. I would guess that the one I used initially already existed in their system, and therefore wasn't actually added to their list, consequently no unlock email sent.
I got one of the two unlock emails. The second oddly enough. Going to give it a few more minutes and use a different email address to get the first title.

Watched the video...I guess they usually feel the need to play up how "different" and "cutting edge" this (most any) commentary set is--it probably wouldn't do to just say "New people saying the same old stuff." [:P]

I don't know about PC, but for Mac Do Not Track Me has very recently started to give me an option to Mask My E-Mail whenever I click in a box that wants me to enter my e-mail address. Choosing that creates a gibberish-looking e-mail address that leads to my inbox, but doesn't let the webpage owner see my real e-mail address. There's also an account page, where I can easily delete all masked e-mail addresses I don't want to receive anything from anymore.
Of course, using the service gives DNTM (and probably NSA...) a pretty good list of your contacts, so, as always, it should be used with caution, but for entering contests, getting free stuff and so on, it seems like an excellent option.

No issue with a German mail adress - it took maybe ten/fifteen minutes until the unlock mails arrived. The free books are excerpts from the originals, e.g. in the Sermon on the Mount book, chapters 2 and 9 (together over 40 pages).
