BUG: Blackberry browser annoyances
1. In the blackberry's default browser, the icons and the head and the foot are on a black background. (This started maybe 3 weeks after the launch of library.logos within the private beta forum).
2. On the search screen (where there is very little text), the bottom strip of icons actually covers the box where I would enter the search string.
3, The size of the text is huge. In the Opera browser it is perfect, but the text inside books is so much larger on the blackberry browser than on any other page that browser pulls up that reading is virtually impossible. I only use Opera to access it because the the above bugs aren't present, but I would love to use blackberry browser (and I bet most users will attempt using the default browser and quit once they see that the site isn't usable)
I'm using TMobile's Blackberry curve 8320.

Jacob, I'm not seeing this on my Blackberry Curve 8900. I give the same answer to all three points.
Are you in column view or regular? I think it may be settings on your BB.

Oh, one more thing. Google up zonasnap to get a free snapshot program that will help you show here what you're seeing.

Yes, the blackberry browser is an unfortunate application. It doesn't support many common css properties, and the ones that are supported seem to vary a lot from phone to phone, making it really difficult to test. Any screenshots you could provide would be very helpful.

Here's the search issue showing the hidden search box and the black header and footer
and here's the one that shows how huge the text is in the blackberry browser (perfect size in Opera, but simply too big to be helpful in blackberry browser)

You aren't able to run Logos4 (which is PC & mac based), but you can run a modified web-based version. Simply direct your browser to library.logos.com and login using your logos username and password.
