Suggestion: Arthurian Romances

There have been many collections of literature that have come out on CP, which I think is wonderful, so I would like to see collections of Arthurian Romances added, including Sir Thomas Malory and Chrétien de Troyes. I would also like to see T. H. White included.

I will also admit to being a little confused, as I thought that more secular literature would be included under the Noet line, but there seems to be no distinguishable line between the two in practice.

I suspect as the Noet platform matures there will be greater and greater distinction. But until then they need to market and sell things their existing market will also buy.

Some of these have a solid position in the theological library. Plato had a considerable influence on theology, and Manetho is credited by one author as being the source of much of the material in Exodus (Gmirkin, Russell E. Berossus and Genesis, Manetho and Exodus: Hellenistic Histories and the Date of the Pentateuch. Vol. 433. Library of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament Studies. London; New York: T&T Clark, 2006.). Shakespeare hails from the time of King Jimmy and uses much similar language. Dostoyevsky is also of importance as I recall from my time in the cemetery.

Yes, I have no question that they belong on Logos.com. I'm just wondering why they aren't on Noet. I mean, secular scholars study Plato, Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, et al., too. All they have on Noet is the same static bundles that they announced at the beginning. And there's no search box.

And add Geoffrey of Monmouth's History of the Kings of Britain while you're at it. Though perhaps for that a modern edition with notes about what is reliable and what isn't would be more useful.

Yes, he would be, so I added him separately. They seem to be only pushing more secular literary works only when they are in the public domain, so I don't know if they have plans to add newer works or not. I thought that would be one of the uses for Noet, but I think I misunderstood the types of literature that are covered there. I would like to see more secular literature in general, along with literary criticism, but I don't want them all mixed in with the Logos website.

We don't really want novels on prepub, do we? They'd just cost more. We want PD ones on CP, and newer ones on Vyrso.

I think they'll add more newer novels later, but I doubt they have the market for it currently. They first need to cover the basics in order to become attractive to secular Arts students. Plus they need time to negotiate contracts with secular publishers they haven't dealt with before.

While I, on the other hand, don't want to have to search several websites. When we can search all their websites at once, then they can move books away from logos.com if they want to, but not before! It's quite annoying enough with Vyrso.
