I'm glad you're well, but sorry to hear you still have a church left to fix. But it takes time, I guess. You have a colleague here who's just going through the same thing. A priest I was at university with now has a church looking like this. They spent years renovating all their churches, then the vicar suddenly decided to convert to Catholicism, he became the new vicar, and before he even had time to get installed "his" church caught fire, so now he has to start all over again.

The real irony is that the last service was the Ash Wednesday Mass. And for Sundays in Lent we usually use an old sung litany that includes a prayer against fire, something that one doesn't pray about that often nowadays (at least not here; in Australia I guess you still have reason to). Felt weird when I knew what had happened the day before. But at least no one got hurt, and it seems they got the medieval stuff out in time. And the Tabernacle. And they managed to save the tower, thankfully. But they still expect it to take a couple of years.
