How do you Add a Note to an open Note in a Note Document

When I add a new note to a note that is already in a note document the new note will not post under the note that is open, as it would in Liberonx. It appears just any old place. is there a way to change this?

In the note pane menu (top left) you should have a sort order option. Try "sort by date added"

Peace to you, Fred! *smile* So much to learn, eh?! I've never noticed that before and was not aware of it!
Thank you very kindly indeed! *smile*

You can drag a drop a note to the location of your choice

Perhaps I'm dense, but I'm not sure I understand what you wish to do when I see other replies. If they have answered your question adequately, please say so. Otherwise, could you explain more fully what you want to do but are having difficulty.

thank you everyone for trying to understanding my question, personally i have a hard time with it. as i have used logas more and understand what is happening this is the problem.
the default sort of Logos is by resource, and i do by subject, in my notes i don't want a default sort, i want to add a note here and one there. so the question really is can the default sort be turned off? so that notes can be put in the position desired. being able to drag a note to a different position is very handy, but becomes very time consuming when it has to be done with every note added, if the new note can be found in a very long document.

Apparently I totally misunderstood your question. I was thinking you were concerned with the order of the entries in one note file rather than the order of the note files in the drop-down display under "Documents." There is a heading bar at the top which allows you to order them by "Name" (alpha sort), "Type" (I think they will always be "Notes") or "Date" (created). Besides this, if you know the name you have given a particular note file, you can type that in at the top and the program will bring it up.

Hi George

And I read Eudora's explanation to mean the opposite[:)]
Let me try and explain what I think Eudora is looking for.
Within a single Notes Document you can create multiple notes.
At the moment a note is inserted in the Notes document in a defined order:
- For Bible references they are entered in canonical order
- For other types of notes they are entered at the bottom of the document
I think Eudora wants a new note to appear immediately under a currently opened note in the document.
But I don't believe there is any way to do this.
Eudora - is this an accurate statement of what you are trying to do or have I misunderstood?

It can't be made the default but you can drag and drop

Gram you are right, and i was afraid your answer was going to be the one that i would get. But, George i also had a question about what you thought i said, and you answered it.
thanks every one. on this score i like Liberonx better. hopefully this will be an upgrade in the near future.
