They have great articles like this one: "What About Charles Williams?" by Thomas Howard. Take a look at some other sample articles in their archives: http://www.touchstonemag.com/archives/issues.php
I'd love to have this journal available in Logos!

Looks like it might be worthwhile, but too much deuce-crossing for my taste.
deuce-crossing
What is "deuce-crossing"? Never heard of that and couldn't find an explanation via Google.

That doesn't help much. My search in Logos for deuce <ex 20:4> came up with zilch. What meaning of "deuce" is being referred to by that phrase? And what meaning of "crossing"? "Deuce" can mean "two" (or a tie) or it can be a euphemism for the devil. What would crossing either of those have to do with the 2nd commandment? I could not find even a definition of an idiom "devil-crossing" (the film "Devil's Crossing" kept coming up) or "crossing the devil" or "cross the devil."
I'm genuinely curious to learn. Is this a known phrase that I have never come across before? If so, I ought to know it. Please don't be so cryptic in your response this time. [:)]
Thanks!
You're half-way there...sorta.
"Deuce" = two
"Crossing" = crossing the line, transgressing
i.e. transgressing the 2nd Commandment (per Protestant count, I suppose).
It's not a saying--I coined it on the spot when I saw all the magazine covers at the link you included. Fwiw, I do that a lot.
Thank you.
