How do I use the read along feature, that I access on my Laptop, on my IPAD?
This feature isn't supported in the Logos iPad apps.

it depends on what you mean by "read along." Do you mean "read aloud"... The computerized reading voice? If so, it's not available. If you mean the audio book style "read along," then it is available... For the few resources which have it. See the LEB for example. Swipe up on a verse to engage the reading.

You can use VoiceOver on the IPAD to read resources in a computerized voice. Set the home button to activate reading with a triple tap. It continues to read across the page if you only have one resource displayed.

Danny will this change the entire functionality of the ipad while it's on? I've tried tampering with this before but it changed everything, so I had to tamper with it about 3 days to try and get it back to normal. If this is the case, It would be great if Logos would just create an audio button like the resources that have an actual human voice. This would be much more natural for both those who need the accessability features, and those who just want to listen to their resources in an automated voice.
Also does it only read one page at a time, and the user would turn the page manually?
Thanks!

I agree VoiceOver changes the total navigation of the IPAD. Before using, it is helpful to read about VoiceOver in the Ipad User Guide. If you set the home button to activate reading with the triple-tap, you can quickly turn on reading when in the resource and then turn it off when you want to stop. With some practice with the VoiceOver mode gestures, you can function efficiently and have any resource read.
I agree that the human voice is superior reading but we will never have all resources enabled.

Unfortunately, there is a bug in the IPad/IOS VoiceOver integration that causes the Logos App to intermittently skip to reading the wrong page after a page turn. This typically happens after every four or five page turns.
It's been discussed here:

Are there any current plans to officially support IOS VoiceOver? It already works well, apart from the intermittent wrong page turns.
IOS VoiceOver has a pretty realistic human voice which is quite easy to listen to, although it occasionally get the wrong pronunciation. I use it during the 90 minutes a day I spend driving to and from work, having a book read to you is a great way to use that otherwise wasted time. At the moment I'm tempted to go for the Kindle version, rather than Logos, when both versions are available. I know that I can have the Kindle version read to me problemless with Voiceover.

Anyone who would like to have free AudioBook support added/re-added in Logos with custom audio speeds through the built-in iOS feature VoiceOver, please cast your vote on this UserVoice Suggestion! I just posted it and shared with my classmates who I know also want this and already we have over 40 votes! Let's keep the votes coming!
