I'm getting the error, "An error occurred during synchronization, click to try again."
I've tried all the typical steps to correct this--it is happening on multiple computers.
Help please.

The message "Previous attempts to download old sync v1 preferences failed. This is the final attempt before available preferences are migrated" may mean that this is the last time you will encounter sync errors. So restart Logos and if the errors continue contact Logos Support.
Thanks! That's precisely what it meant. Working on my other computer now. Hoping the same quick fix is available...
Other computer....no luck there...

Welcome [:D]
Noticed other computer is running Logos 5.0b SR-3, which is different than 5.2a SR-2
Suggest updating Logos 5 on other computer => https://www.logos.com/installation
Keep Smiling [:)]
Can't even update. Get an error message when I try that.
How are you trying to update? Via a manual download of the engine, or through using the "update now" command? In this case, the former is probably desirable. What error message are you getting? What OS is that computer running? Can you give a screen shot of the message?
Running Win 7. Getting error message that says, Setup was unable to download a required file when i attempt to download from the website. Tried "Update now" command and nothing seems to be happening...says it is downloading, but just sits...
Try the procedure here . If not successful we will need to see some logs.(upload the zipped Logos Log File folder).
Thanks, Dave. I don't even have Background Intelligent Transfer Service in my list of services. Attached are updated log files. 5460.Logos Log Files.zip

That's the problem, as you can't receive updates without it!
You may have to repair your installation of Win 7 but first try the Suggested Answer from Little Kid at http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/software-os/f/3524/p/19462989/20168964.aspx.
Little Kid's solution worked! Unfortunately, now I have 2 GB of Logos updates downloading and about 500 MB of Windows updates downloading!
