If you want to install the word lists from Libronix v3 into Logos v4.6, Logos includes a tool that you can type into the command line: "Import Word Lists", which will import them from Libronix. In my case I do not have Libronix installed and do not want to install it. Luckily it is possible to import these files without installing Libronix.
I haven't found this clearly explained anywhere else (maybe I didn't look well enough), so I just thought I would post the steps here in case anyone else wants to do the same and couldn't figure out how.
- Download the word lists you are interested in from http://www.logos.com/training/vocabularylists
- Go to your "Documents" or "My Documents" folder in Windows. Create a subfolder called "Libronix DLS". Notice the space. Then, inside the folder "Libronix DLS", create a subfolder called "VocabularyLists". Notice there is no space.
- Copy the word lists files you downloaded into the "VocabularyLists" folder.
- Type the command "Import Word Lists" into the Logos 4.6 command line and hit Enter. Logos will import the vocabulary lists.
- You can then delete the "Libronix DLS" folder if you like to keep your "Documents" folder clean.
BTW, a similar process can be used to import Sentence Diagrams. Instead of "VocabularyLists" the folder is named "SentenceDiagrams". The command is "Import Sentence Diagrams". There are more details about that process here: http://wiki.logos.com/Loading_Logos_3_Sentence_Diagrams_into_Logos_4
