Logos on e-Ink: Kobo Aura HD + SD Card = Android, Kindle, & Logos
Along with others of you, I've been searching for a way to utilize my Logos books on a small e-Ink device without giving up the benefits of actually using a resource in the Logos app. I know one can export resources and make Kindle books, but if I'm going to spend time reading a book, I'd like any highlights or notes I make to be available in Logos later, without any double work.
After looking around it seems like there may be a solution. I've noticed a few other posts of those trying it out, so I'd love to consolidate it here and hear your feedback.
Here is the solution, I should be able to give my own feedback in a week or so:
Device: Kobo Aura HD
Operating System: Android 2.3 is able to be installed via an external SD card per these instructions.
Screen type: e-Ink
Screen size: 6.8"
Storage: 4GB on device and up to 32GB micro-SD card externally.
Benefits: Once Android is running one should be able to download both the Logos and Kindle apps, install their books, and utilize their full services on this nice e-Ink device. Also, with such large storage, one could possibly download their entire Logos and Kindle libraries. I've read that Logos requires Android 2.3 or higher so it should run. According to others they have seen it do so.
Unavoidable issues: One should probably make this a reading-only device since the e-Ink platform won't be able to keep up with more advanced apps, etc.
So, what do you think? Will this work? Have you tried it? Thoughts?

All I can say is that it works for me! E-Ink is easier on the eyes than any backlit screen. When I want to do any lengthy reading of any Logos resource, this is my go-to setup. Of course, you can also do passage guides, exegetical guides, and word studies, to name but three. Highlighting and note-taking work. This setup is also ideal for such apps as Instapaper, iBreviary or Divine Office. YouTube or any intense games? Not so good. E-Ink isn't designed for video or lots of graphics, and the Aura HD doesn't have audio capability anyway. But for apps that involve reading, or games like crosswords or sudoku, it works great.
When I want to read my Kindle, Nook or Kobo eBooks, I go back to the Kobo firmware and read them there, with the help of Calibre. That Aura HD display is very nice. You can install the Kindle or Nook apps on this SD card setup, but I prefer the Kobo firmware. You could install your favorite eReader on this SD card setup, of course. YMMV!

To go back and forth between Kobo and Android, simply power off your device and then turn it back on - just using the red button for Kobo, or holding the light button and then using the red power button for Android.
One little quirk you should know about - if you run Kobo with the SD card in the slot, your Kobo firmware will read your card and copy the image of EVERY Logos resource you have downloaded into the Kobo library! You can't open those resources in Kobo, of course, but you will suddenly have what seems like a much larger library. It may also make it harder to find your Kobo books. So, I find it easier to take out the SD card when I use Kobo. Then all those Logos icons don't appear.

I am using. a Kobo arc. With the logos app
It is working real well it as 64gig drive space ,
1 gig ram' processor 2x 1.5 graphics 2 processes

In any case, don't bother with an Android 2.3 device any longer. Although the Logos app still works on it, it's no longer supported, and many (especially newer) resources don't open on it.
