BUG: Notes formatting

To duplicate:

Create a new note (in can be in an existing Note), and type three, multi line items, each separated by an Enter. It can be gibberish.  So just start typing, until you get to about 3 lines, then hit enter. Add a second - hit enter, add a third - hit enter.

Then, Highlight all of the text you typed, and click on the 'number' button, which indents them and adds the number 1, 2, and 3 to it. All is good

Here is the big - while it is still highlighted, immediately after clicking the number button, click the Italics button. Some (it seems random) of the numbers go away! You can make them come back by clicking the number button again.

I am sure other combinations of buttons work as well to see formatting disappear.
