No hyperlinks for the Classic Studies on the Atonement

For sometime now I have been doing research on the Atonement and have noticed that in several books, namely John Stott's "The Cross of Christ" (newly published, I might add) and Berkof's "Vicarious Atonement Through Christ", that there is no hyperlinking to the older works that they cite. I could maybe understand why Berkhof's work is not hyperlinked, having been produced beforehand, but Stott's just came out a few days ago. We aren't talking about just one or two links, but it is MANY. In Stott's work there are seven or eight and I am only through the first part. In Berkhof's it is far more prevalent. It would seem to me that with this feature being one of the main selling points of the software, whenever a new work is published it would be cross referenced with the rest of Logos' library and the hyperlinks added. That should be SOP for the QA guys. Otherwise, it would seem that Logos is just wanting to push content, driving quantity over quality.
I would appreciate a response from Logos on this and perhaps a followup when these have been corrected.

I don't claim to understand all the particulars involved, but it may be related to the bug acknowledged by Logos in this thread.
I have to read Stott's book for a seminary class this summer. Functional links would be nice.

Thanks for pointing that out Donnie. It seems to me that this isn't a "bug" in this instance but a failure to be thorough in new material that has been added. The Classics on the Atonement Collection was published before Stott's book.
BTW I think you will really enjoy Cross of Christ. I read it in Seminary as well and enjoyed it. This refresher is a about 7 years after that and I am glad to have it in Logos now to highlight and take notes on it.

Bump for a reply from Logos.

Noticed 2009 resource was updated last year, but lacks hyperlinking. Thankful can highlight a phrase, right click to search (or copy and paste into Library):

KS4J,
That's what I have been doing as well...with Berkhof and Stott, it seems to be every other paragraph that they have someone referenced. For most of my reading of them I was actually searching for the author/book, then scrolling for the page number, then looking for the reference before it dawned on me to do it how you suggested. "duh moment" if I ever had one. It still just seems to me that this shouldn't even happen, not with a just released book. Like buying a car, but they forgot to put in the engine...
BTW, I have emailed logos and not gotten a response yet.

Really not trying to be a thorn, but I have had no communication from Logos on this, even after emailing support and Bob. But this article came out today about how hyperlinks exponentially increase the value of Logos, and my thought was, "This is totally why I have the software...except..." So I'm hoping to see something move on this.

Everett, please accept our apologies for missing this.
Would you mind giving me an example with screenshots? Sorry for asking for so much extra on your end, but it will help in resolving this quickly.

Honestly Jannie, I have no desire to go back and look up each instance when these were not linked. While I understand why there is no linking on different dates, I wonder why one version was chosen over another, especially an older, when both are (I assume based on date) in public domain. Here is one final one from Berkhof. Screenshot 6 shows the quote in his work. The second shot is from the Berkhof's work.

Everett,
"Vicarious Atonement through Christ" was produced before "The Atonement in the Light of History and the Modern Spirit", resulting in the missing cross link. I will add "Vicarious Atonement through Christ" to our list of resource updates to fix this issue.
Thanks for your help and patience.

Yup, I knew that was the reason for that one. My overall point was that when new works come out, they ought to be checked with other existing works to see what needs updated. My issue was twofold: Missing links in a NEW work (Cross of Christ) and in OLD works (Berkhof). The reason we have this software is precisely for this capability, as referenced from the blog post in one of my earlier posts in this thread. What frustrated me was the lack of communication from Logos after repeated attempts.
For now, I am almost done with my study using these two resources, but future updates would help future students. My hope is that Logos will place quality at the same level that they have been placing quantity.
