Resource Panel background

Hello everyone,
So I go into preferences and under accessibility I choose paper for my resource panel background. However, it has not been working for about 3 months. The only choice that works is the grey selection. When I put paper it is the same as choosing white, no difference. Paper used to give me a sort of light orange color. It was easier on my eyes than just plain white.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Or is this a bug in Logos 5? How can I fix this. The white background is terrible for me and I want the orange "paper" background again. Any suggestions?
Blessings...

Hello Rev 14:6,
what version of Logos are you running on which machine (you may take a look into my signature for the level of detail we may wish)? Did you change something three months ago when the background started to "not work" (update to Hardware, OS, video driver....)?
The mor einfo you give, the more precise we fellow users can come up with suggestions.
Alternatively, call Logos tech support and have someone log on remotely to your machine - sometimes this can help faster if there are known issues.
Have joy in the Lord!

I'm running Mac OS X 10.6.8,
Processor:2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Samsung 840 Pro SSD 256 GB
I have not changed anything on the machine. I have been meaning to report this but I have been really busy so I have not done this yet. Now I have. I really want the paper back ground. Honestly, I can remember that sometimes when Logos updates the paper background would go away, then a new update and it was back again and this was with me not doing a thing.
Hope this helps to diagnose...

This is exactly what I am experiencing on both of my Macs (MBA and iMac) running 10.9 and the 5.2a release of Logos. When I select gray in Preferences, it appears as a light blue background.

I just went through all the choices for the Resource Panel Background on my iMac and they're working as they should be. (I'm running OS X 10.9.3 on a 2013 27" iMac.) Also running the latest release of Logos. I can't think of a reason why yours is not working right unless you have some other program that may be running in the background that alters the color selection. Try running Logos in Safe Mode (press and hold your shift key and reboot) to see if the same thing happens.

I find all the backgrounds responding as they should.
Time to upgrade the OS?

So you all think it that Snow leopard is the culprit? I have a couple of reasons why I haven't gone to Mavericks yet, one of which is iTunes 11.
Anyone else still on Snow leopard and your backgrounds are working ok in Logos?

Well, then I know its not a (snow leopard 10.6.8) software issue. I just can't see to figure out why it no longer works on my Macbook Pro. I can't imagine my processor would be the culprit? (Macbook pro 4,1 [Intel Core 2 Duo])
I would like to get my backgrounds to work again, somehow...

Sorry for all the same posts, I was trying to post and it was saying it did go through. Sorry...

Wow, Rev. 14.6, that IS a lot of re-posts. I have learned in the last few days, after hitting 'Send' to switch over to the forum threads window to see if it 'took' (since the 'Send' doesn't ever finish up).
But it IS pretty neat, so many! And I hope you can solve your background problem. The eyes can really impact life.

Well just out of the blue the background returned to the setting of paper. It is sort of a light peach color or light orange color, but it is easier on the eyes. It was gone for about 3 months and now it just returned after the recent update. I don't know why this happens.
