Linking with active verse

I'm a new user of Logos 5.
I have linked my commentary and bible,, but I note that linking happens only to the topmost verse of Bible.
If I click another verse (say, middle of screen) commentary doesn't change.. I have to scroll to make that verse the first one to see the notes. Is this a known problem, help me with any solution!
Thanks

Welcome to Logos and to the forums.

I wasn't aware of it but I can reproduce it.
If you change the verse details in the verse indicator box (top of resource) you will find that the Bible position is left unchanged but the commentary does scroll.
I think that clicking on a Bible verse should do the same thing so this looks like a bug (at least to me).
Hopefully knowing that you can type in the verse will be a workaround for now.
And hope that someone will be able to confirm this is a problem or explain why it works like this - and that someone from Logos will comment.

Thanks for the quick reply.. typing in command box changes bible and commentary to that verse, but clicking on a particular verse doesn't change commentary.
The verse indicator on the bible module changes, but no result on the book.

Agreed.
Hopefully someone from Logos will comment further

That would mean the commentary changed for every highlight you made, as well as every time you clicked on a footnote indicator to lock the popup. Wouldn't that be a bit of a nuisance?
I think this is by design. In Logos world the active verse is always the top one / the one that shows in the reference box as you scroll.

So does that mean I have to scroll to top every verse for a commentary[:@]??
I like to read from the center of screen not top!
Reasons
1.Small verses skip commentary when it reaches top.
2.I had been using esword and theWord for quite a time, and they do link to the verse on which cursor is placed.
This is worse than commentary changing on highlighting a verse or reading a footnote
