BUG or QUESTION: lectionary layout page with a clarifying SUGGESTION

The behavior that I am getting is:

Step 1: click on a reading in the lectionary portion of the home page ribbon: I get a full page with lectionary, missal, five Bibles, one commentary, cited by and explorer but I don't get the daily devotional shown in http://community.logos.com/forums/p/83716/586862.aspx#586862 - it make no difference if I use Logos or Verbum. I do have calendar devotionals prioritized. Why is it missing for me?

Step 2: click on a saint name in the saint portion of the ribbon: the saint database resource is added to the existing layout.

Step 3: switch to another unrelated layout.

Step 4: click on a reading in the lectionary portion of the home page ribbon. The top priority Bible is opened to the selected passage and added to the step 3 layout. (There are some exceptions where I get step 1 behavior again but I can't find the parameters to consistently recreate). Is this the intended behavior?

Step 5: enter a passage reference in the home page Go box. The default layout (Passage Guide, Exegetical Guide, five Bibles, one commentary, information and text comparison) opens. Note that the Go box retains its original default layout after intervening layout while the lectionary does not. Is this the intended behavior? It seems inconsistent.

Step 6: dream how I would have designed it. I would expect a function that allowed me to "click through" each of the readings for the day in the default lectionary layout - which I can (almost) do from Step 1 but not Step 5. Am I missing something?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I can't reproduce this. I get the Daily Devotional, and I don't even have a calendar devotional prioritized. What lectionary/devotional do you have prioritized?

This isn't the intended behavior, and there is an active case for the issue. I'll link to this thread.

This one is the intended behavior, which is why the lectionary one isn't. [:)]

Got it - if your highest priority doesn't have all dates, Logos doesn't go down the priority list until it finds an entry. Moving Co-Workers of the Truth to the top resolves the issue. This means one has to set seasonal choices at the beginning of the season.

I'm not surprised that you get a default devotional. I discovered that I must have at least five prioritized to NOT get ones I don't want on the home page.
