Community Notes
Is there any way to limit which Community Notes are displayed? The "My Faithlife" notes are totally useless. Some times they are nothing more than what a total stranger has highlighted!

If you tap the "community notes" settings button you can select which Faithlife groups' comments are displayed

In L5 it's the usual Visual Filter menu (the three-colored circle button) where you can turn off the display of things in aresource or in all resources.

Community Notes are pulled from the groups you are a member of. Check out Faithlife.com to see what groups you have joined - the notes would be from another member of one of those groups.

No. "My Faithlife" only consists of those people with whom you share at least one other group.

Thanks for the help! I noticed that this gets rid of the little green balloon if there are no groups I am following, but if there happen to be a group with community notes I want to read all those dreaded "My Faithlife" community notes show up in the actual community notes box itself. Is there a way to no longer be a member of "My Faithlife"? Because everyone seems to be made a member of "My Faithlife" the quality of the notes some people "contribute" is low.

No. "My Faithlife" only consists of those people with whom you share at least one other group.

Is there a way to no longer be a member of "My Faithlife"?
In Logos, viewing the "My Faithlife" notes shows all the notes from everyone in the groups you are a member of. If you don't want to see the global view of everyone's notes that you are connected to, you can change the drop down in the Community Notes panel to be just a specific group.
You can do the same on Bible.Faithlife.com. In the left column where you see "My Faithlife" and a number, that's actually an open content area. If you click on the words "My Faithlife" it will close that section. If notes from other groups are available for your focused verse, you will see the name of that group as well, which you can then open and see only notes from that group.

So to get rid of notes from a person you find particularly annoying, a person needs to figure out which group that person is a member of and "unjoin"?

Is there anyway to permanently close "My Faithlife" or never to see it's balloon? I really don't want to see comments like "Such an awesome reminder of God's love for us." every time I look at notes on John 3:16! That may be OK for Twitter, but come on. These are suppose to be actual notes produced from serious bible study!
As a pastor I would really like to promote Faithlife in my church, but issue like this make me wonder if it is even worth my time.

My recommendation: Write your own Community Notes. Write good ones. Add to the content. Make the world a better place. Evangelize. Edify. Proclaim. Enjoy. Let your light shine. :-)
