Milford has been in the hospital intensive care but hopes to be released soon and return to the forums. We should all keep him in our thoughts.
Praying with you all.
God bless you real good Milford.
Peace to my Logos Forums Brothers and Sisters in the Lord! …. and wishing each of you Great Joy in the Lord! *smile*
Thank you! …. and Thank God for you!
I am deeply humbled and honoured by the Good People of the Logos Community Forums who have responded to George’s post regarding myself.
Am Deeply humbled and honoured by the Love and Respect shown me by various Brothers and Sisters of the Logos Community Forums from the four corners of the earth!
Wow! Health getting better! Mind blown! *smile*
And the many, many prayers to our Loving and Gracious God! Am so grateful! And! In Jesus’ Name …. !!!!! All answered!
Also, I am profoundly grateful for the friendship of George Somsel, our resident Curmudgeon, who alerted the Logos Forums Community to the possibility of dire circumstances in my personal life! *smile*
He also, with great difficulty, placed helpful verbal contents on my phone system which was extremely difficult to find ….
George and I have related to each other (Logos online!) for many years, dating way back to the time of the Logos Newsgroups – sometimes agreeing on various issues, sometimes disagreeing – however, always profoundly affirming the “one, holy, Christian (catholic – note! SMALL “c”) and Apostolic Church
My reaction to all of this? (Please let me share with you, eh?! *smile*
Somewhere in my Logos Library I’ve found this: John Chrysostom (c. 347–407 -- His last words are said to have been, "δόξα τῷ θεῷ πάντων ἕνεκεν" (Glory be to God for all things!)
For those of you who are younger (I’m 77!), in the olden days a diagnosis of pneumonia for an older man used to be a “sentence of death”
That’s what happened to me early, early in the morning of May 5! My Breathing was so bad that my wife had to call 911 and I was taken by ambulance to the Oshawa, Ontario Hospital to the Intensive Care Unit. Spent four days there, then five days in Constant Care Unit, then seven days in the wards and came home late yesterday, a total of 16 days – just over ½ a month, but never alone!
Our Gracious Father! Jesus! The Holy Spirit! His holy angels – prayers of many believers, some I’ve known, some I have never met; although we WILL be meeting then the Kingdom is “translated” at the end of time! *smile* All with me and supported me!
To those of you who have prayed for me, thank you! They have been answered!
May God give me strength in the future to support others if it be His Will for me to continue my life in this world!
Meanwhile, the prognosis is Good! Healing is happening, and I hope for a good return to where I was! Praise God!
This is the third time in just over two years that I have come close to death. How wonderful it is that I have a great Future through the Glorious Gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! *smile*
Meanwhile, I remember daily that He died for me; and I ask the Holy Spirit of God to help me always live for Him and for the Gospel!
*smile*

Milford, I'm so glad to hear you are out of the woods and doing so much better. We sure missed you here, and as you can see you are very much loved by all. You bring a smile and a sense of peace to this corner of cyberspace. And your joy in the Lord is infectious. May you not be exposed to anything else infectious like another bout of pneumonia that would bring you down. Blessings to you, dear brother! *smile*
Milford:
Thank you for the update. However, I disagree with many of our friends - I intend to continue to pray, knowing that you, like all of us, are under attack from the enemy. May you continue to experience many years of God's grace - may you be blessed as you have blessed so many of us.
Yours because His,
Floyd
God's Blessings Milford! It is so good to hear from you!

Wow Milford, God did a real work on you! I had pneumonia back in December and it knocked me out pretty good for a couple of weeks, and I am only 43!
A man of your age pulling through so well is a true miracle to thank God for. Praise Him!
And I am so glad you're back!

Milford,
I've been away for a few weeks and just saw that you were sick. Glad to hear you are well. Praying for you.
What a blessing to see so many caring for one another and you Sir....Glory to God indeed!
Amen! http://community.logos.com/forums/t/20083.aspx
I was thinking about and praying for Milford this morning. Does anyone have an update as to how he is doing now?
I've been wondering as well. We haven't heard much from him since he returned home. I'm hopeful that no news is good news though on the internet I think it's the opposite—if something happens, people just drop out of contact. I'm hoping all is well.
Thankful God is in control; Praying for His Love, Joy, and Peace to fill us all. Humanly hoping to read more gentle forum posts by Milford Charles Murray.

I was afraid that might be the case. He is and will be missed.
Agreed, Milford was a real blessing and encouragement. Praying for his family and friends that they will know God's peace and comfort
[Y] He was a great encouragement to me.
I just heard the news now. So sad for those left behind and yet so happy for Milford who is now in the presence of his Saviour.
He had been on my mind and in my prayers and, for the past few months, I had been thinking of visiting him since he only lived a few hours from me but sadly I never took the opportunity to contact him.I wish that I had taken the initiative.
It's funny, although we never met face to face I was extremely fond of him and will miss him greatly. He was such an encouraging man and will be greatly missed.
Thanks for letting us know.
Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace.
He is and will be missed.

I will miss that gentle man. He prayed often for me and my family. He reminded me to love those I disagree with. His unique writing style was poetic and comforting to read. I am happy for Milford nd sad for his family and friends.
