Colours

How can it be that Logos will not have it that we can have different colours within the Logos program? It's still difficult to understand why free Bible programs have this and something like Logos does not or continually refuses to add this feature.

Also, this might be a bit more difficult to get coming down the tubes, but "What the Bible Teaches" (both OT & NT) would be a super asset to Logos.

Finally, now tell me this is not where we are to post or suggest such things! :-)

First, Bootjack, yes, you're in the wrong forum. This forum is for 'colors'. Not 'colours'.

Second, Logos5 is a work of art. Do you let people that visit museums to re-paint the paintings?? I didn't think so.

Third, users are not artists. They mess things up. I remember one day, I saw someone's Libronix ... it was UGLY!! I thought to myself, I'd never use software that was so ugly.

Good then, I'm in the wrong forum. I did that part right. As to "colors" ... yes, it's "colours" ... just according to which country you're in.

Now here I am mistaken again. Me thinking that Logos was here to produce "eye candy" --- it must be really difficult, especially when popular (and powerful) programs like Online Bible allow one (or two) to use various colours.

It would be nice to see Logos give us the option of using our own colours just the same.

Finally, where then does one go to offer up suggestions to Logos. Your help would be appreciated, no matter what colour it comes in!

Mick, permit me to edit this. Logos has none of the Books I'm referring to. "What the Bible Teaches" is put out by Ritchie Publications. For instance, all of the NT is completed and nearly the OT.

For instance, Genesis is written by J.W.Ferguson / The Revelation is written by Jim Allen.

Per another 'colour' person (fgh), 'Suggestions' is fine.

Personally I think colours are prettier. And yes, my Libronix is all 'coloured' up with pastels, soft contrasts and highlight colors in carefully selected hues.

Libronix is one thing - Logos apparently is something different where we are not given the option of various colours for difference panes.

Where does one post for actual suggestions to Logos?

Ah! I actually own four of them in hardcover editions in German language (e.g. Matthew by John Heading, James by George Waugh), picked them up in a sale. I'd like to see these in Logos. If I'm not mistaken they are devotional commentaries from the Darby/Brethren perspective, published in the 1990s.

I've got the works of them in Hardback, one paperback. Not sure the writers would accept the old "brethren" title, although unfortunately too many do.

I wonder what it takes to get Logos to bring them aboard in digital form? Permit me to ask again for the first time ... where does one send suggestions to?

Instead of User Voice suggestions, let's raise our voices for the option of colours in Logos. I still have a hard time wrapping my foot, I mean my head around the fact that Logos has no colour options. It's like a Starship without warp engines.
