greetings all,

I am looking at buying Logos software but keep wondering about something. When I buy a sillver package and install it on my macbook, can I also install/use it on my iPad and iPhone? Or do I need to buy additional apps  that?

thank you for your help,

Ronald

Hi Ronald; Welcome to the forums. The short answer is yes you can install on iPad. No need to buy the mobile app. You will need a separate app, which you can get here https://www.logos.com/iphone.

    For slightly more clarification:

Logos business model is to sell resources rather than software. The software is always free. Their philosophy is "buy once, use everywhere," but publishers must agree to those terms first.

When you purchase a base package, ALL of those resources will be available within L5 on Mac OR Windows. You may install the software on as many computers as you own, for your PERSONAL use only.

MOST of the resources which come in a base package will also be available in the mobile apps... but not all.

One last thing: "Logos 5" (or "L5") is a DESKTOP application. It runs on Mac and Windows... not iOS or Android. Logos makes a number of mobile apps... but they are NOT "Logos 5." They do not have all the same functionality. Depending upon your desired usage, you may find the mobile apps superior or lacking to L5. Personally, I prefer to do the majority of my READING on the mobile app... I do the majority of my STUDY within L5. To me, those are different functions for which I have different needs.
