Microsoft Surface/Windows RT
I hear that development of Logos for Windows RT has stopped. Is there any chance of this moving forward in the near future? My wife bought me one for our anniversary, & I was deeply disappointed that the Logos app doesn't work too good on this machine.

Apparently, the rumor was not true. As we approach Spring 2014, all Surface tablets are still in production.
Personally, I would not want a tablet with the RT system. I do not see the point.
But the Surface Pro 2 is the finest tablet being made right now. I would not swap back to my iPad for anything. And it has far more software than the iPad (that is apps for apple fan boys). The Surface Pro 2 runs all Windows software. It runs Logos 5 very will indeed. The Surface Pro 2 is for work. The iPad is a great toy.

I am confused by this also because when it all comes down I don't believe anyone is really asking for an RT app. What we are wanting is a Windows Store app that works in a fashion similar to the Android or iOS apps. With a Windows Store app it will work not only on Surface RT but the plethora of Windows 8 tablets and desktops that are out there.

I don't care about Windows RT.
But I certainly don't want to have to run the full version of Logos on a Dell Venus 8 Pro in order to enjoy reading in a comfortable fashion.
Seriously. That would be ridiculous.

Would that run on a Nokia 2520 with RT 8.1? These things are brand new and could never run full win.8.1. Heck, I just don't understand why I can access everything from my Android phone but not from the 2520. I'm pretty sure RT is not as much on life support as some say since Microsoft bought Nokia.

Dear Logos,
Could you let us know if this is a possibility? It seems like it would not take too much to work on the WIndows store app.
I agree w/the comment(s) above:
1) It seems like an update to the windows store app to make it function like the android app would be sufficient for as many of us who are using a surface (whether it's an RT, Pro, Pro2,et.al.)
2) Having a full blown Logos program on any of the above devices seems a bit cumbersome, where an high functioning app (like the android app) on windows store would be more than welcome compared to the current version.
As of right now my phone has more power using Logos than my fancy Surface.

Bob Pritchett, CEO of Logos addressed this issue a while back - http://community.logos.com/forums/p/57269/541004.aspx#541004
Making Disciples! Logos Ecosystem = LogosMax on Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (Win11), Android app on tablet, FSB on iPhone & iPad mini, Proclaim (Proclaim Remote on Fire Tablet).

Thanks, David!
Quick question (as I see/read you've got the surface pro 1, right?):
How much space does L5 take on it? Do you have the 128gb surface pro? How many gb out of the 128 are used by L5?
Thanks!

Oh...and what library do you have?
I have the platinum plus several resources from the Libronix days and the Perseus stuff.0 -
I think you can find out the size of your Logos installation by looking at your Logos5 folder (on Windows 8.1 at C:\users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Logos5). My 2,490 resources take up 16.9 GB. Logos easily fits on my 64 GB tablet.
