Nothing intended by the order in which these are presented. I tried at first to group them in order of Christian groups, other religions (the most common ones first), then philosophies, but eventually my grouping broke down and I got lazy, and there are clearly some that are out of order, but I didn't bother fixing it. And there are more in this series, too many to list. I ran out of patience listing them all.

All of those interest me. So, I would buy those.

I wouldn't need witches and such. Nevertheless, most of them would be good to have.
Yeah, I'd probably hide the Witchcraft one if it came in a whole set. Logos would probably choose to omit that one anyway, and perhaps some of the others, though most of the others are probably interesting for research purposes, even to conservative Christians. Many of us probably know someone who comes from one of these other religions or at least someone who has family members who does. I had Sikh neighbors across the street whose male relatives who came to visit never cut their hair, and wore turbans and kirpans (ceremonial knives), and I was curious to know the origin of those practices. I have Japanese Christian friends with relatives in Japan who practice Shintoism. The Druze community have been in the news in recent years; they are a monotheistic minority religious group in Israel, Syria, and Lebanon, and have been the object of much persecution.

I'm certainly not against the suggestion (nor would it matter if I was). I was curious and pulled the Shinto one. Then I queried to see what else showed up for Shinto. I only saw one among the bunch (Yamagage) and it's now on my iPad.
I guess seeing so many, I'd wonder about exactly what one might be looking at? Outside looking in? World's religions-ish? Westerners?
And then I really hate to bring up the aging CP (I think) on ....

Hi Rosie,
I hope you don't mind me asking, do you work for the Canadian Central Bank? I clicked on the book link - very pricey[;)].
Good suggestion though.

No, I don't mind you asking, and no I don't. There is no institution called the Canadian Central Bank as far as I know anyway. I did work for Microsoft for many years, though, and thank God that has continued to fund my Logos book-buying habits.
Anyway, a suggestion on these forums doesn't necessarily imply a commitment to purchase the collection if it ever comes out. I just think this set would be a good thing for Logos to produce. It's up to them to decide whether they'd sell enough of it to make it worth it.
Maybe it is too pricey for most people's wallets to be a good fit. But Logos does produce a lot of other pricey sets too, so that's not necessarily a reason not to do it. Maybe they could have a nice sale someday and bring it into reach for interested parties.

I see what you mean, great. Thank you for responding, some how you have a knack of suggesting great books.

I just bought one of the volumes on Kindle (one of the less expensive ones; "less" being all relative) just to see what they are like: the Historical Dictionary of Radical Christianity. Oh my, this looks good! Except it's irritating that the footnotes are all endnotes and are not linked. I'm sure Logos would do a better job of that. Also having all the cross-references linked (which Logos would do) would make it way more useful.

Thanks Rosie. I like what i have read so far and if it makes it into Logos for a good price, i can see myself purchasing it.
