Eph 1:1 is the verse under evaluation; however the River graphic doesn't change no matter what verse is being looked at.

I gave an incorrect answer here and no one caught it. The strips are not of the same width so they reflect the difference of the first and only verse. You have to have multiple verses to have a difference between the values for two verses.
