Voting twice would require a Chicago style democracy. Vote early, vote often!
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Small question about the 1K club... when you hit this mile stone, do you get access to the Logos lounges, get a 25% bonus on each post made to the forums, get vouchers for Logos merchandise? I thought it would be nice to know what we are missing, besides benefits such as avoiding RSI at the keyboard. [8-|]

You have to make it past the hazing you'll get when you hit the 666 milestone first. People who have made it past will be waiting to grab a screen shot of your photo with 666 under it. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6344.aspx
I'm getting nervous... ;-)

Just hit reply on this message and get it over with!!! ;-) That still doesn't help me with what is beyond 1K!

This is clearly a case of Reverse Evolution. He's gone from an old man several weeks ago (the Moses avatar) to prehistoric (probably in response to searching for the original meaning of Hebrew words etc.)
Longtime Logos user (more than $30,000 in purchases) - now a second class user because I won't pay them more every month or year.

Well, the biggest problem I have with it is, that supposedly some of George's ancestors are Czech [:(]

What! George offended! How could you imagine such a thing? George is just a harmless little fuzz ball. [:D]

I think George's humour is one of the things that makes the Logos forums great. Now we have his avatar as well!

Welcome to the club Rosie!
Have you heard of Forum addicts anonymous?
Me neither.
Thanks, Thomas! You yourself probably need it more than I do! Looks like you're headed for the 2K club pretty soon. I don't think we should create a new thread for that club, though, or all the people who have been whining about the silly threads (this one, 666 , and Hijack) will get bent out of shape. It's true, we probably should confine our silliness to a very few threads, because every time we add something new to one of them, it pops up again on the Recent Threads page and people will have to skip past all of them to see the threads they really want to read if they're not interested in these ones. We shouldn't make their job any more difficult than it already is. I'm not stopping by these threads as often anymore anyway. Too much else to respond to that's keeping me busy.

Goodness no, I don't consider the majority fluff!! Far from the truth. Although I have only been a Logos software user since the first part of 2008, the vast amount of support I have received hasn't been through contact with Logos but with the members of this very forum (- though only until recently have I felt the need to post - that may be a testimony to the vast amount of information provided herein). In a lot of cases there is no need to post as the issues (the right questions) have already been asked or suggested.

I didn't think you did. Just thought maybe you were trying to make a joke about how we all got into the 1K club, and you were making a humorous attempt at trying to do so too, implying that's maybe how we got here. But I knew you were joking. Thanks for the vote of confidence! :-) I'm glad you've found this forum to be helpful. I can't really take much credit for any help you've received since early 2008, since all of my 1K+ posts have been racked up in the past two months, since I upgraded to L4 (my first post was November 7). I was not really even aware this forum existed before then, and I've become a much more enthusiastic Logos user since L4 came out. 1000 posts in 2 months, that's, what, about 16 posts a day? Gee, I guess I should get a life... ;-) But this has become my life for the past couple of months. I have a very flexible life, and commitments to new projects come in waves. Learning Logos 4 (and helping others learn it) has been a joy.

I have been in worse company than that in my sordid past. I was a sailor long before I was a pastor.

I'm almost afraid to ask. What does that mean?
Rosie Perera said:Caviness
Very cute. Some of the extended family (far extended) spell it Caveness

Ah, then you were in very good company indeed. John Newton was a sailor (well, a ship captain) long before he was a pastor.

Welcome to our newest member, Jack Caviness! This thread is at risk of getting auto-locked if Joe's idea is implemented. [^o)]

Welcome to the club Jack.
Rosie, true this thread would be a casualty of that decision, but IMHO it is worth it.
First, we can always start a new fun thread with a link to the old one.
Second, I am tired of reading threads that are months old with negative topic titles that were resolved quickly (most often due to user error). These poorly titled threads give new users a bad first impression when in fact if they read the whole thread, it more often than not works in Logos' favor.
Finally, locking stale old threads will, I think, help us better track new posts with real questions.
Just an opinion though.0
