Ordering resources in collections?

I want to create a collections so that I can compare various versions. I created an RSV ESV collection but when I search this collection in Text Comparison the ESV is listed first, presumably because it starts with "E". How can I get RSV to be first, without tying it in manually each time.

You don't need a collection for a text comparison. Simply enter the bible versions you want to compare in the order you want to compare them.

Fred ... I tried that and it didn't work.  It used to though.  Maybe my training is un-training itself.

A work-around for sorting the Text Comparison Tool, is to edit the title of each desired resource in your Library (e.g. 1-RSV 2-ESV etc).  I've edited mine so they group (e.g. KJV types, Catholic, etc).

You can't order resources in a collection - they'll always be listed alphabetically. But you shouldn't have to type it manually each time, either. Type it manually once (e.g. RSV, ESV). Then, text time you click in the box where you would choose the collection, you'll see a list of previously typed comparisons, and you'll be able to choose RSV, ESV with just one click.

It does work, but it's a bit temperamental. If you're not careful, when you type the second resource you lose the first one. The 'secret' is either use the keyboard to select the Bibles, or just use the mouse. Just the keyboard is easiest IMO.

Well, Mark, I think I'm going to have to plead stupidity.  I've not got it to recognize anything that is not a collection or tag.  In fact, if I type in RSV, then select NRSV from the list, then a passage, it uses the tag I was using many attempts back (days ago?).  It's not critical to me; I use my tags.  Just odd.

Follow up.  After I switched (alt-tab) back to Logos, I notice it did a redraw with the name of the collection (removing my typed in Bibles).

I tried various top-secret techniques.  I noticed by type in, then backspacing, I can get it to work. Well, maybe 1 out of 5 tries.  Clearly, as with all their other text-box displays, they're not using what the user is seeing.

Well, anyway it's not my software.

For comparing many resources, a collection is easier to select.  Personally added year prefix to Bible resource titles.

Concur that selecting more resource(s) is temperamental and keyboard is easier.  Also can use link set for scrolling.

RSV has 1971 prefix for second edition; RSVCE has 1966 prefix from resource information copyright.
