I don't seem to find the option to change the default font in all resources in the program settings:
Thanks for sharing that George. I checked my Logos 5 installation and it shows the option like your screenshot. I should have mentioned that this happens when I'm using Verbum and not Logos 5. Might this be the first difference between the two installations? Not cool.
Even the 'set default resources font' command is not available in my Verbum:
What gives?

I have no idea why that is the case (nor did I know that prior to your mention) since while have some Verbum resources, I don't have Verbum itself. Perhaps you could run your Verbum resources in L5?
Can't the UI be changed back and forth between Logos and Verbum by issuing the command set verbum to {yes|no}? What happens if you try setting it to no. Does the ability to change your default font come back? Can you change it to what you want and then set your UI back to verbum? Does the default font change stay in effect?
Of course if all of the above works, it would only be a workaround. It sounds to me like a bug/oversight that the default font setting can't be changed in Verbum.

I understand Sleiman that he uses the Verbum installer version, not the classic L5 in "Verbum mode". Otherweise I can at least assure that the L5 latest beta does show the setting for default font in Verbum mode on my machine.

Ah, shows my ignorance. I didn't even know that the Verbum installer version was different from classic L5 in "Verbum mode".

This surely is an oversight, but I wonder what caused it to happen. I thought that the two programs should share the same code with respect to the engine/settings/etc... ? I don't know much but this is not cool. Having to deal with bugs on two fronts must be costly to Logos and unnecessary in my opinion.
Using Verbum 5.2a SR-6 (5.2.1.0155) and Logos 5.2b Beta 2 (5.2.2.0228) on Windows 7, can replicate Verbum having one less program setting:

There is an active case for this issue (only an issue in Verbum). I will include a link to this post to the case so that we will update you once this issue is fixed. [:)]

This should be fixed in 5.2b beta 3. [:)]
Which is out! And this is confirmed fixed:
