Formatting in MS Word for scripture verses

Hi all:
I don't even know where to find anything on this. My question is this. I am working on an old 19th century commentary in MS Word to make it into a personal book I can use in Logos. I understand if I put the scripture reference in, the book builder will recognize it, and show the text. Very handy. I like it.
But my problem is that the author has dozens of references to other verses in same book of scripture, which he only references by chapter and verse, and not with the name of the book. Anything that is not from the book, he references with the name of the book, chapter, verse.
This is a tedious process, and out of several hundred pages, I have about 80 left to do. But in the future, I'd rather not spend all my time pasting the name of the book before every reference. Is there anyway I can set up the Word document to understand if there is just a chapter and verse, it should assume it is from a certain book?
Thanks for any help.

Hi Howard
Sorry but I believe the reference needs to be fully specified

Basically, when I am working on a specific book of the bible, let's say on the book of Psalms, the writer will make continual cross references to other verses in the book of psalms. Some of the topics are quite large and contain many citations from Psalms. The verses do not have the name of the book before the chapter (it will say "25:2" instead of Psa 25:2).
so, if there are 20 or 30 verses without "Psalms" before the reference, I have to add it in the word document so that book builder will recognize it.
It will recognize "psalm 25:2', but not 25:2 as from the book of psalms. Does that help?

Yes, I understood, the problem but I don't think there is an easy solution.
you either need to add in the name of the book - which changes what is displayed in the final Logos book - or you tag each one using the existing reference as a "label"
For background on Personal Book syntax see http://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books
theoretically you could have something like [[cc:vv>>Bible:Psalms cc:vv]] for each one which would render the surface text as in the original and would give the required link.
i know this is even more to paste in but you could set up a Word macro to do it.
