Transferring notes and highlighting from a Vyrso resource to a Logos resource

I really appreciate Logos' policy of providing free upgrades when a Vyrso resource is made into a Logos resource. But this has created a bit of a challenge for me when I had previously made notes or highlights in that Vyrso resource. What do you think is the easiest way to transfer these notes (primarily highlights) into the Logos resource?

    1. Open Verso book to cover
    2. Open Logos book to cover
    3. Open highlighting pallet.
    4. Begin the fun.

    It is the only way.

Thanks Alabama. That is the way that I was doing it but I was just wishing that there was a faster way. Actually, I am doing the same thing for paper books that I have highlighted and now own in Logos. It is a lot of work but I think it is worth in in the end.

It might also be helpful to have another panel opened to the note file, and a search panel with the new resource as the target. You could click on a note link in the document, and then use search if need be. You should delete the note in the old resource as you add it to the new.

Con is extra step (and time) to delete old highlighting, which only appears in Vryso eBook.  After highlighting has been cloned, the visual filter menu in Vyrso ebook could be used to turn off previous highlighting.

True... but the pro might outweigh the con. Namely, you can simply delete the old note (since the note document is open) and you know how much progress you have made, how much more you have to do, and can pick up more readily if you don't have time to do it all in one shot.

For the ones that I have extensively marked up, I keep both editions in my library rather than going through the work of transferring...might be worth it given the right book, but for many books the Logos edition isn't that much better in order to justify the work of transferring markups
